We co-found and invest in Keyara. The inspiration for Keyara came from 24 years of working in the power & electricity industry. we worked for a major Italian equipment manufacturer and we were involved in projects throughout the middle east. It was remarkable how the same problems kept recurring.

For example:

• Execution of unnecessary & expensive maintenance because of the challenges in creating effective tenders

• Plant operators over-paying for maintenance because there’s little or no competition amongst suppliers

• Absence of channels for secure and convenient exchange of information, leading to delays, errors and large additional costs

• Expensive spare parts needlessly manufactured because the companies lack a system to determine what will be needed and when.

 

So, we began thinking through how a solution to these problems would work. We have since collaborated closely with industry experts in Italy, Saudi Arabia & United States to develop the concept We’ve been working with an experienced startup founder in London, on translating our concept into a thought-through product, with specifications, wireframes and a robust business model. We’ve also registered the company in London.

 

We held meetings and signed NDAs with energy companies in KSA, Jordan and UAE. ​
